When I go to bed I feel as though something is dripping into my throat. It feels like a genuine obstruction and it can sometimes give me a dry cough. I am 45 years old and I have never feel this. What could this be? Only serious answers please,

could be a nasal drip, ask your doctor about it. it could be stemming from your sinuses, so perhaps a CT scan of your sinuses would help?

It could be post nasal drip. Really common especially if you've been congested. Even if you haven't it's still possible. Try taking Mucinex. Or an allergy medicine.
